Oncologic Pathology

Oncologic pathology is general phrase used to describe any tissue biopsy interpretation by a pathologist that ends up in diagnosis of a cancer. The Pathology Group has the ability to interpret essentially any tissue specimen that potentially may be involved by a cancer. The pathologists work very closely with the patient’s oncologist in providing diagnoses, prognostic markers and test results for treatment strategies. The pathologists at The Pathology Group are in close contact with the treating oncologists in order to ensure pathology and other test results are received in an accurate and timely manner. Our group takes pride on our communication abilities with the oncologists and other physicians we interact with.
